Mrs. Amy McKown is a seven year veteran of the National Physique Committee (NPC) and achieved her professional status within the International Federation of BodyBuilders (IFBB) in 2022. She has been an avid fitness athlete since her childhood.
Mrs. Amy McKown received her pro card at the 2022 NPC Teen, Collegiate and Master National Championship. IFBB achievements include 2nd Place in the Omaha Pro, 1st Place in the Wings of Strength Atlanta Pro; which qualified her to compete in the 2023 Olympia Women’s Physique Division going forward.
Mrs. Amy McKown received her high school diploma in 2003. She attended Colorado Technical University and attained her Associate of Science – AS, Radiologic Technology/Science – Radiographer in 2009.
Mrs. McKown also has several certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine to include Certified Personal trainer, Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist, Certified Sports Nutrition Coach, Certified Nutrition Coach, Certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist, and Certified Mental Toughness Specialist.
Her awards include: 2022 Best Overall Competitor (2022 NPC Teen, Collegiate and Master National Championship), numerous first place and overall wins in NPC Figure and NPC Women’s Physique Division, various winnings throughout her 12 years of showing
American Saddlebred Horses.
She is married to Eric, her husband of 8 years. They are parents of one child, Chase Zayden. Mrs. McKown and her family are residents of Whispering Pines, NC.
